Growing up in New York as an academically precocious child and teen, a smooth road into the upper echelons of business or science seemed preordained. Wrong!! Feeling enormous pressure to be “perfectly accomplished” she stepped out of her scholarships and out of her life. She resurfaced in her first career as Head Nurse of a New York City Emergency Dept. After moving to California, she pursued a passion for acting, training with Gordon Hunt, Darryl Hickman and at Oxford University for Classical acting. Life interrupted Remy’s acting career in 1990, when she was catapulted into taking over an insolvent manufacturing company with almost a million dollars of debt. Alone, income cut off, the company’s creditors acting as wolves at the door, she could either sink or swim in what was truly a man’s industry. She chose to swim, and, found the best parts of herself along the way.
